Class Descriptions
Mixed Mat
A welcoming, steady-paced mat class suitable for every body. We blend APPI‑informed Pilates fundamentals with clear cues, simple progressions and plenty of reassurance. Each exercise includes options so you can choose the level that feels right for you — whether you’re brand new, returning to movement, or building strength week by week.
Ideal for: beginners, returners, and anyone wanting strength + mobility in a supportive small‑group setting.
Gentle chair
A supportive, accessible class using the chair for seated and standing stability. We explore posture, balance, strength and mobility in a way that feels safe, achievable and surprisingly effective. Includes a relaxed tea/coffee social afterwards.
Ideal for: older adults, post‑rehab clients, anyone wanting a gentler pace or additional support.
1:1/Duo
A personalised session designed entirely around you. We begin with a postural assessment, then build a tailored plan to support your goals — whether that’s injury recovery, confidence building, women’s health, or deeper understanding of Pilates technique.
Ideal for: injury support, beginners wanting confidence, targeted progression, and personalised guidance.
Mat Elevate
A stronger, more dynamic mat class combining classic Pilates with hand‑weight work to build upper‑body strength, core stability and full‑body control. Expect slow, intentional movements, clear guidance and simple progressions that help you feel powerful without ever feeling rushed.
Ideal for: anyone wanting a steady challenge, improved strength, sculpting work and a little extra energy in their Pilates practice
