A Warm, Supportive Space to Move at Your Own Pace
Pilates with Catalyst is calm, clear and welcoming. Whether you’re brand new, returning to exercise, or looking for a gentler way to build strength, you’ll find a space where movement feels supportive — never intimidating.
My classes are designed for real bodies, real life and real energy levels. You’ll be guided through simple, intentional movements that help you feel steadier, stronger and more connected to your body.

What Happens in a Typical Class
Each mat session follows a gentle, structured flow:
-
Mats are already set out for you to choose your space.
-
A standing warm up including posture reset and breathing
-
Mat based strength‑building exercises using APPI principles
-
Clear cues and simple progressions
-
Options to make movements easier or more challenging
-
A short, mindful moment and cool‑down
You’ll never be rushed or overloaded. Instead, you’ll move steadily, with time to feel each exercise and understand how your body responds.

How I Support Beginners
If you’re new to Pilates, you’re in exactly the right place.
I teach with:
- clear, simple language
- demonstrations you can follow easily
- hands‑off corrections
- gentle reassurance
- variations for every ability
You don’t need to be flexible, fit or experienced — you just need to arrive. I’ll guide you through everything else.

What to Bring
All equipment (including mat) is provided but to help you feel comfortable you can bring:
- A drink
- Layers you can move in
- A small towel if you prefer extra support
- Grippy socks are useful but not needed
- An open mind — Pilates is gentle but surprisingly powerful
